WOW!!

So Kidist and I entered a photo into a photo contest for Adoptive Families a while back. It was just for fun. Well about 3-4 weeks after entering the contest, I started receiving emails from Adoptive Families asking for a better resolution picture, kids names and ages and then lo and behold, we were announced at the winner!! It's kind of neat. Take a look here and you'll see we are featured on their website too!! Our lovely girls also made to the inside of the front cover of the Adoptive Families magazine!

I can't believe I just deleted a post!! Why did I delete it. . . .well, take a look over to the right to see what people search for on the internet. I'm not going to write it here because then this post will be forever marked!! It had to do with hugging being a better way of getting the girls goats, then any other behavioral tactic known to man!! So I'm done for now!! We had our annual church meeting last weekend, I'm sure I could go on about that, but I won't!

We are all good!

We are all good, healthy and still alive. We are busy people and I apologize (sometimes) that I don't keep up more. See, there we are smiling. . .


Most days go like this. . .
Alarm sounds.
Get up.
Shower.
Ready for school & work.
Home from school & work.
Snack.
Homework.
Supper prep & eat.
Read, finish homework.
Tuck little princesses into bed.
Mommy homework time. . . . .
Go to bed.
Repeat as necessary.

Weekends are truly for rest and catch up at this point. One semester done and this semester I will have three chapters of my doctoral research prepared and completed for research to begin this summer. Time is a flying. . .

Girls are doing wonderful and are loving school. They are learning tons and look forward to each Monday.

Dad is doing well too. He's keeping busy with the end of the year church work, budgets, confirmation, etc. . . the lists goes on and on. . . ya know.

I know some look with disappointment that a new post isn't waiting and then there are the ones who have just stopped looking. . . Sorry. . . .All I can say is I'll try. . .

It's devastating. One of the first of many thoughts were all the adoptive families and their prospective children. So many lives changed in just the blink of an eye.

Bad Blogger, I know. . .

I know, I know. . .
BAD BLOGGER! Sorry, it's busy at my house, I don't know about you, but I'm having a hard time finding some time to sit and upload pictures and comments at the current chaotic time!
For being a second year mom and dad I think we are doing pretty darn good. The girls are getting up in the morning and we send them to school clean and fed, with lunch in hand, backpack on shoulder containing take home folder and whatever homework they may have had from the previous night. The come home and they are fed a snack, play outside for a while, eat dinner and get ready for bed. Sometimes a story, depends on the level of chaoticness around here!
Bond is his usual busy self and me? Well just trying to keep up. With what? Everything? Work, the house, school, the kids school! Please, I ask you, please, don't just drop on over to visit, because you may never know what shape you might find my house! And we might not even be home!
So for now, this will have to do. I feel somewhat "caught up" in my readings for school so perhaps on Friday night I'll make time to post some pictures! Since I won't have to get up at o' dark hundred for work! Why Friday and not sooner, well, I have a few projects I have to finish for school with a Thursday deadline and Friday reflection. So if I'm successful in that endeavor, I'll post on Friday! Again, can stay up a little later :-)
