First Snow - you know that stays on the ground!

Today as I was coming home from work I called home and was told that the girls were out playing in the snow!! I was confused as we didn't have any snow on the ground in Beloit? Confused?? Oh well. I get about 3 miles from the house and sure enough, there is this white stuff on the ground covering all the green stuff we call grass. Of course, pure excitement was flowing through the house, oh and the backyard, where they were playing.

Truckin' with Grandpa

We went home this past weekend to visit grandma and grandpa and the girls got to ride in the big truck! Take a look~

We also went to the Jelly Belly Factory store in Pleasant Prairie and bought some jelly beans. The girls are now experiencing flavored jelly beans!! We've all decided that we don't like the Buttered Popcorn ones! YUK!

morning rituals??

This is daddy's idea of fun. . early in the morning . . Yes, you are seeing these pictures correctly. He puts shaving cream on the girls necks and then shaves it off with the backside of the razor!! UGH!!

Dad comment: The girls really want to have their necks shaved!! It's not my idea :-) - Yea, right ;-) Another smiley face~

Halloween :-)

As mentioned in a previous post, both of the girls wanted to be butterflies. I'm so very glad it was in the 60's this year as their costumes would have been covered by their lovely winter coats! The girls went with their first and bestest girlfriend, Ava, trick or treating in our neighborhood.

The girls halloween treat bags! Pretty scary hey??

More Hair

I decided on WEAC conference weekend, or Halloween weekend, the girls were getting their first haircut. So we went, we sat, Jodi, the stylist, cut, and we came home!! You might not be able to tell by the pictures, but I sure can ~ especially with the really fine comb I use to part their hair after washing. . . . . After we wash hair, I usually tease the girls about how much food they have in their hair (because of ALL the SNARLS!!) So we joke that Kidist has peanut butter and jelly in hair. You see PB & J is her favorite. And for Bayat, it's usually chicken, but the last few times it's been a fruit!!

So more gratuitous kid pictures~

Before picture~~

During haircuts~ Woohoo!!!

Just another night at home

Ok, I don't stress about a super clean house, but I also don't condone a living room full of newspaper, but they were having fun. (smiley face)

Bond and I were reading the paper and the girls decided to take every (almost every) newspaper we had and lay them out all over the living room floor.

Story Time at School

Where to begin?? HUMMMMMM~~ Ok, it's Wednesday, did I mention before that it is parent teacher conferences?? BUSY!!

Ok, let's start here. At Adam's Elementary School, Kidist's school, the kindergarteners are invited to story night. It was on October 16th this year. Parents are invited to bring their student and their siblings to a small theatre at school where first the principal read a story and then other teachers and parents volunteered to read stories. . . . This lasted about an hour. All the kids wore their pajamas and the girls really enjoyed it. . .

They even got their picture in the Janesville Gazette! Of course totally engaged in the story!!

Be patient. . . .So I've not posted in a bit. . .We are busy people. . . . (These are all said with big smiles on my face :-) Anyway, B is home tonight and perhaps I can get a few minutes to load some pictures and write a few things. This will be my goal. . . Of course after I get my quarterly report cards finished. . . . Until tonight!! :-)
